Damien Hirst's seminal Spot and Spin works are two highlights of Sotheby’s upcoming Contemporary Art Day Auction (24 June – 1 July 2021). In this latest video, Sotheby’s specialist Antonia Gardner tells us about the origin of Hirst’s legendary spot paintings, and how this iconic design spawned into different shapes and sizes, such as his triangular ‘Pemoline’.
