A small celadon-glazed meiping and stand
the vase with a narrow base sweeping into broad rounded shoulders, surmounted by a cylindrical waisted neck and flared rim, the stool-form stand with a shaped apron pierced with three circular apertures and surmounted by a flat everted rim, the apron forming brackets between the four tapering legs themselves resting on a circular stretcher supported by four ruyi-form feet, all covered in an unctuous pale olive-green glaze, the bases unglazed to reveal the buff gray body (2)
Height of meiping 4¾ in., 12.1 cm
Overall in good condition. Both pieces with a few minute scattered chips to the feet. The stand with some minor surface wear. One shoulder of the meiping is slightly broader than the other.
